Challenge
Before Zoppy, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the retail market faced significant challenges in customer retention and generating repeat purchases, which directly impacted their ability to scale and make their business profitable.
Approach
Design a retail-focused software solution that unifies physical and digital operations for SMEs, enabling entrepreneurs to create personalized loyalty programs through an intuitive, accessible experience. The platform addresses the lack of retail-specific CRMs by simplifying complex data and supporting users with varying levels of technical expertise.

From the very beginning, building Zoppy meant tackling a complex set of challenges. We were designing an entirely new CRM-style platform. What began as a simple brief quickly turned into a deep design challenge: craft an interface that could simplify powerful automation and loyalty features without overwhelming users, especially shop owners with limited tech experience.
Throughout the process, we explored countless concepts and refined numerous wireframes, constantly iterating on the UX flows to ensure every interaction felt intuitive and purposeful. Every screen was debated, tested, and reworked to strike the right balance between clarity and depth — from onboarding data to campaign automation and customer segmentation. On top of that, the visual design was crafted to feel approachable and effortless, helping entrepreneurs feel confident using Zoppy to grow their businesses.
Result
With the implementation of a simple yet high-quality MVP, the product has already delivered significant value to its users (1,500+ in 2025) facilitating the scalability and profitability of their businesses. Zoppy's initial success led to its expansion and partial acquisition by Méliuz, reflecting the effectiveness of the solution in addressing the technological needs of SMEs in retail.
